National Night Out 2008 was a huge success in Sicklerville, NJ at the Terrestria Club House and Safe Kids Haven founder Ivette Gonzalez-Stern was there. 
We had a great turn out despite the HOT weather and gloomy clouds above our heads. The children were busy eating, making noise and their usual favorite "Swimming" in the pool as their parents shared old stories and old friends hung out by the pool as new friends were made.
I know I made myself some new friends as well. I am new to the neighborhood and parents offered me their great advice and views on this great night!
The "Americas Night Out Against Crime" featured visits from our great Gloucester Township Police Officials who took time out of their schedules to talk with the children and parents.
We also had "McGruff" the Crime Fighting Dog, Ken Morris, Crime Prevention Officers, & Lambs Terrace Fire Company.
Refreshments were also served which consisted of hotdog, chips, soda and our favorite pretzels.
This is my first time attending this event here in South Jersey BUT you will definitely see me here again next year, handing out safety flyers, mom packs and safety information.... Thank you to all the people involved with putting this event together "GREAT" Job done!
